Kim Dornblaser
was born and rasied in
Whitehouse Station, NJ and currently resides in Palmer Twp, PA. She works
full time at an Insurance Company in NJ. Racing is a huge part of Kim's life.
She began racing quads at the early age of 4. She has won 2 Track Championships
at Flying Dutchman in
Pine Grove, PA and one District 6 Championship. In 2000, Kim was offered
a ride in a Tobias Slingshot by long time friend Jay Hartman. Borger's Speedway
in
Saylorsburg, PA was having a "Powder Puff" night and Jay asked Kim to
race. A week later, Kim's parents brought home a Slingshot for her. She raced
for 3 years, finishing 8th, 2nd and 3rd in points before being offered a full
ride in a 270cc Micro Sprint by Chuck Clark, from
Pearl River, NY- owner of C&B Race Products. Chuck has been on board with
Kim for the past 3 years providing a new car at the beginning of every year. In
2007, Kim finished 3rd place in points. For 2008, Kim's brother, Brad
Tabertshofer, will be her teammate and will strive for that Championship. When
Kim isn't racing, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, visit her
parents lakehouse in NC, and most of all, spending time with her Siberian Husky,
Storm, and 2 cats, Kane and Kosmo.
